I felt an earthquake this morning. Since we live in a very geologically stable area, I thought it was odd. Two gentle thumps through the ground, separated by perhaps five seconds. Nothing rattled in the house, so it was very minor. Had I not been motionless, I would not have felt it at all.

It could have been a “skyquake” caused by Martian ships or various Earth-based spy craft. It could have been an aftershock from the Nepal quake this morning. That would be the most likely explanation.

It is both interesting and mystifying.
