Mob rule suppresses truthful witness accounts

The US Department Of Justice report came out yesterday on the shooting death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. I thought it was very interesting that at least six witnesses to the actual shooting were afraid to tell their version of events because it would have disagreed with the opinion of their neighbors and of the media. The witnesses feared for their lives and their property, feared vicious retribution from their neighbors, if they told the truth.

See pages 27 through 36 of the DOJ report.
