Stage 4 brain cancer
A friend of mine is dying of stage 4 brain cancer. He had no idea he had it, until one day he was so weak, he couldn’t stand or walk by himself. His mechanics thought he had a pinched nerve, but multiple whole-body scans finally revealed the sad truth. He has perhaps six months to live, more likely three. Or one.
He has been married many decades. I doubt he will see his anniversary in a month.
I should go say goodbye to him. I have a kitchen magnet that says, “When I die, I am haunting you first.” Perhaps I will give it to him. He would like that.
