Friends don’t let friends drive Jaguars

Friends don’t let friends drive Jaguars. Apparently actor Dick Van Dyke has no friends, or his friends weren’t paying attention to his driving a Jaguar, which promptly burned up on the 101 freeway in Los Angeles.

Historically, English machinery has always been prone to oil leaks, and therefore has been prone to fires. A longstanding joke in the computer industry is that England has never developed a large-scale chipset manufacturing capability, because they could never figure out how to make the chips leak oil. (ARM not withstanding, though technically ARM only designs chips which are built elsewhere, by companies and economies which are NOT renowned for leaky machinery.)
