So much humiliation, so little time

Do your brains ever spontaneously decide to dredge up every embarrassing social moment you’ve experienced in the past several decades? Occasionally mine do. I hate it, because there’s so many delightfully embarrassing moments to relive. At some point, I learned to shunt most experiences into short-term memory, where they’re eventually purged. But these unbidden ghosts of the past are all long-term memories, burned into the memory banks before I learned to filter them out.

Very annoying.

There *are* so many. Now you’ve got another to add to your list. (Happy to help.)
