Ethically-challenged, part 4

The consultant who quit a few weeks ago has been calling and emailing some of my staff, asking for help in getting answers she needs for her new job.

Shockingly, none of us responded to her calls or emails. She burned bridges with everyone when she left in a huff. It didn’t make anyone inclined to help her now.

The phrase “unmitigated gall” comes to mind, when I consider her attempts to get help from us. But then, in her mind, the world revolves around her. I’m sure she’s just as surprised that no one wants to help her.
